A work in progress.
A few things to know.

Beta information · 16 October 2026

Guest pilot

You can use the guest page without signing in. When the site owner enables funded YouTube search, it allows up to 7 attempts per browser per UTC day, subject to a shared limit of 30 site-wide. Failed provider requests count. Clearing cookies does not reset the shared allowance. Samples do not consume searches. You can use your own key in guest mode instead; Google quotas apply. Guest queues and results stay in the tab and do not become saved feeds. AI and social discovery are outside this pilot.

What is available

The hosted app at /app supports private saved feeds, on-demand refresh, connected API keys and the unified queue/player. The landing page retains its separate sample demo. The v0.11.1 download remains a separate local source build requiring Node.js, not a signed installer.

Connections, quotas and costs

Visitors use their own API keys. Google and AI-provider terms, quotas and charges apply. The signed-in app supplies no shared YouTube quota or free AI allowance; the separate guest pilot has the limited allowance described above. Without AI, searches use a labelled keyword parser. Hosted abuse-protection and storage limits also apply.

Platform limitations

YouTube discovery needs a YouTube Data API key. TikTok, Instagram Reels and X discovery uses your Brave Search key to find indexed public video links, with official previews where permitted. Results are live-only, not saved or AI-ranked; no social-account login is required. Searches run on demand; live social discovery also runs when you open a feed. There is no background search scheduler while the app is closed.

Video availability

Videos belong to their owners. Official embeds can be restricted by creators, age, region or platform settings. TAHPYS does not grant download or redistribution rights. Use Next when a player cannot play a video. Instagram and X require manual Next; provider-controlled branding and links remain intact.

House promotions

Labelled first-party Guligila/TAHPYS promotions may appear beside results. Fixed copy uses broad topics locally; no paid advertising network is connected and no raw search is sent to an ad service.

Search limitations and beta status

Search is not exhaustive. Upload dates do not establish when events discussed in a video happened; reuploads may discuss old events. AI interpretations may be inaccurate. No uptime level, platform approval or future pricing is promised.
